National Centre for Fathering – Fathering for Life

The vision of the National Centre for Fathering South Africa, is to establish a new standard of fathering in Southern Africa.

Our mission is equipping fathers, empowering families and helping children through a national movement.
We run 3 training courses to equip and empower fathers. They are:

1. Champion Fathering
   A course that will help men fulfil their commitment to Love their children, Coach their children, Model for their children, Encourage other children, and Enlist other dads to join the team.
2. Quenching the fathers thirst
   Recommended for Fathers in Challenging Situations. This program provides “culturally ” relevant material that addresses many issues for fathers involving fragile families in urban areas
3. The 7 secrets of effective fathers
   Based on Dr. Ken R. Canfield’s best-selling book, this program is ideal for churches and organizations requesting spiritual foundations to fathering. This program covers the great power of fathers, barriers to effective fathering, and the framework of effective fathering practices… the 7 Secrets. Includes the 7 Secrets profile for dads.

NCF’s training programs have been highly rated by participants for their practical content, action-orientation and high energy approach. They are designed by men for men. They are fast-moving with practical content, exercises, video clips, small groups and action planning. Programs are supported by a book and follow-up material.
